Plateau APC to conduct ward congresses today

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State is to conduct its ward congresses today.

A statement from the party yesterday said the shift to today became necessary

“as a result of certain unforeseen logistics challenges which hampered the earlier scheduled take-off of the congress.”
The statement which was signed by the state secretary of the party, Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande, said the earlier advertised dates for local government and state congresses will take place on April 12 and 26, 2014 respectively.
“We continue to thank our teeming supporters and the wider public for keeping faith with the ideals and objectives of the All Progressives Congress,” the statement said.
