The National Conference yesterday lost one of its delegates, Dr. Mohammed Abubakar Jumare, who was from Kaduna State.
The deceased who came to the conference
as an elder statesman died in Abuja in the early hours of yesterday and
was buried later same day in Zaria, Kaduna state.
The conference had on March 27 lost another delegate, retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police Hamman Misau, who was from the Association of Retired Police Officers of Nigeria (ARPON).
A statement from the spokesperson of the conference Akpandem James said the deceased served as a National Commissioner in charge of Information and Publicity Committee at the National Electoral Commission and was also the Chairman of the 15-member National
Advisory Committee on Delimitation of Constituencies

He was reappointed Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission in Kaduna State in 2011, a position he held until his demise yesterday.
His burial was attended by the Kaduna State Governor Ramalan Yero and the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris.
The National Conference was represented by Professor Mahmood Yakubu, the Assistant Secretary in charge of Finance and Administration.
