Governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang, has said President Goodluck Jonathan would return to the presidential villa in 2015.
He also assured the national leadership of the PDP that he would work within his powers to deliver his state to the party.
Jang who led the Plateau State PDP delegation to the national secretariat of the party to discuss issues of development with its national chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC), expressed confidence in the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan and commended Mu’azu for “turning things around” for the party’s greatness.

The governor stated that in the 2011 general election which produced President Jonathan as President, “Plateau State delivered the highest number of votes in the entire northern part of the country” adding that the 2015 election would record more number of votes from the state.
He said the state leadership and members of the party have been working harmoniously without crisis since the 2011 elections and advised all the PDP local government chairmen in the state to embark on grassroots mobilization for the party in order to deliver 100 percent to it in 2015.
He condemned a situation where some members of the party cross-carpet to the opposition parties for not being able to achieve their personal aims stressing that “we want PDP to be a home of like-minds and not a market place where people walk in and out at will.”
He stressed that the PDP in Plateau State has been receiving new members into its fold contrary to claims in some quarters that the party is not vibrant in the state. He pledged to work in synergy with the NWC of the party and its chairman to ensure that the party “remains the home for all.”
In his remarks, national chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, said he would do everything possible to ensure that the party remains vibrant and strong to ensure a peaceful and united Nigeria.
