CAN condemns bomb attack at Emab Plaza
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has
condemned Wednesday’s bomb blast at Emab Plaza, Wuse 2,
Abuja, describing it as inhuman.
Pastor Simon Dolly, National President, Youth Wing of CAN,
made the condemnation in an interview with the News Agency
of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Abuja.
He said the association would continue to pray for peaceful co-
existence of Nigerians in the face of all challenges.
He called on youths to embrace peace and shun activities
capable of causing havoc in the society.
“It is when there is peace that there will be meaningful
development in the country.
“We must continue to support our government, and create the
enabling environment for government to operate,’’ he said.
Dolly also urged Nigerians to be watchful of happenings around
their environment, noting that perpetrators of evil acts lived
within.
He commiserated with the families of the blast victims,
sympathised with the injured and prayed for the repose of the
souls of the deceased. (NAN)
