THE Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
high command has mobilised over 150 latest species of
sniffer dogs from Russia to Ekiti State,to comb the entire
state towards ensuring peaceful and credible gubernatorial
election today.
This was in addition to the over 15,000 personnel already
deployed in the state from neighbouring states to beef up
security ahead of today’s election.
Speaking with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, the
Deputy Commandant General, Operations, Evans Ewurum,
who led the personnel to Ekiti, assured that every
necessary security arrangement had been made to ensure a
hitch-free election.
“We are not here on a jamboree or to shoot anybody,
either are we hunters, but we are here to create an enabling
environment for credible election in the state,” he said.
