Nigeria is now a massive grave yard – Dr. Oby Ezekwesili

A former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili has expressed shock and displeasure at the abduction of about 60 girls from Kummabza in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State by members of the infamous Islamic sect, Boko Haram. She noted that the latest development was worrisome as President Goodluck Jonathan had yet to make any serious move as to the rescue of the kidnapped Chibok girls who were whisked away by the terrorist group from their school in Chibok, Borno state. According to reports, the victims are aged between 3 and 12. The former minister said this via her official Twitter account, lamenting the precarious state of the victims, declaring that justice for the poor in Nigeria was “always non-existent.” Condemning the recent abduction of over 60 girls in Borno, Ezekwesili stated that the insurgency in the country has consumed us. She also warned that with the series of events, which she described as unfortunate playing out in the country was gradually on the path of destruction. Urging the political leaders to act fast, Ezekwesili observed that the Federal Government had again failed the 60 teenage girls recently abducted.
