Stop day-dreaming, Oyo APC tells Alao-Akala

THE All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State chapter, has asked former governor of the state, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala, to stop day- dreaming about either him or his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), returning to the government of the state. The party made this known in a release issued by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Dauda Kolawole, in reaction to the former governor’s statement where he said the PDP would “capture” the state in 2015. Alao-Akala had been quoted in the media on Thursday to have said: “There is nothing that can stop the PDP from winning in 2015. We want to capture the state and we have all it takes to do so.” In a swift reaction however, the APC asked the former governor to wake up from his slumber as the PDP he claimed would bounce back to power was now an empty shell which had been weakened and splintered into unrecognisable cells not capable of winning even councillorship seats.
