TAMBUWAL CALLS FOR UNITY IN TARABA
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu
Tambuwal, has urged the people of Taraba State to
eschew differences and unite for development of the
state. He made the call at Gashaka Local Government
Area of the state while inaugurating an empowerment
programme initiated by Barr. Tukur El-Sudi, a member
representing Gashaka, Kurmi and Sardauna in the
National Assembly.
Tambuwal said though Taraba is a state made up of
Christians, Muslims and traditionalists with diverse
ethnic orientations, it could develop its vast resources
with tolerance and unity.
“Without unity, no meaningful development can take
place in any society”, he said.
He commended the member for empowering his
constituents and called on other members to do same for
their people.
