Omisore is hale and hearty, says Osun PDP

CONTRARY to reports that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the August 9, 2014, governorship election in Osun State, Dr Iyiola Omisore, was sick and had been flown abroad, the state’s chapter of the party has stated that Omisore was hale and hearty. The chairman of the party, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, stated this in a release made available yesterday, saying the public should discountenance the baseless and unfounded report, saying Omisore attended a meeting of the party’s Committee on Strategy. The meeting was also attended by the party chairman; Omisore’s running mate, Adejare Bello; National Secretary of the PDP, Professor Wale Oladipo; Minister of Police Affairs, Dr Jelili Adesiyan and Prince Francis Ade Fadahunsi, to mention a few. Olaoluwa said if anyone was in doubt about Dr Omisore’s health, he would be in Olaoluwa Local Government to campaign.
