The Bayelsa State governor, Hon Seriake Dickson, at the
weekend, faulted the rising criticism against the leadership style of
President Goodluck Jonathan, declaring that the myriad of problems
plaguing Nigeria are due to the 100 years of leadership failure.
Governor Dickson stated that the myriad of problems have been existing before the present administration but that Jonathan has been tackling them through his transformation agenda.
He maintained that if President Jonathan is allowed to implement his agenda fully, Nigeria would be a better country.
Governor Dickson, who spoke at the weekend in Yenagoa at a
summit organised by the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum (NYPF), said if Nigeria is boiling, it is because there has been a leadership failure for 100 years.
Represented by his principal executive secretary (PES), Hon Doye Diri, he faulted critics of President Jonathan’s administration, saying they are not sincere in their blame that the woes of the nation were caused by Jonathan’s style of administration.
