Food shortages have been reported at the ongoing National Conference. Delegates are entitled to a free lunch, however the food is said to barely go round.
Most delegates have taken to murmuring and subtly complaining to the press about the food situation.
Monday reportedly the worst of the food shortages. Luckily for the delegates their murmuring for insufficient food got to the conference secretariat.
Addressing the issue on Monday after lunch break, conference Secretary, Dr. Valarie Azinge said,"Honorable delegates, it has come to our notice that most
of you did not get food to eat. We are very sorry about that. We promise that it will not repeat itself tomorrow.
However, Tuesday also witnessed food shortages. But Wednesday proved a bit better for the conference as food was said to have gone round for the delegates.
Although most delegates claim that Wednesday was only better due to the departure of many members who opted to have their lunch outside the conference venue.
