‘Muazu will bring defectors back to PDP’

The Mua’zu Support Group for Greater PDP (MSGGPDP) has said that with the leadership quality of Alhaji Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu as PDP national chairman, party members who defected to other parties, especially the All Progressive Congress (APC) would soon return.
Coordinator of the group, Alhaji Aminu Bello, said yesterday in Abuja that what has been happening barely three months after he was appointed to lead PDP, including correcting much of the mistakes
of the past, is a sign of better things to come.
“There has been appreciable level of stability and unity has been restored as party stalwarts and supporters have rekindled faith and trust in the party again. The wind of transformation in the party brought by Mu’azu was also blowing back aggrieved members of the party who had defected earlier to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) and those who were planning to leave the party.
He said: “The enormous reforms carried out to redirect Africa’s largest party by Alhaji Mu’azu is tremendously yielding fruit as the party had taken a new look and new direction, therefore giving hope to all chieftains and members of the party, including Nigerians at large.”
He therefore urged members of the PDP to continue giving their support and cooperation to Mu’azu.
