Imminent showdown as Ogun APC faction inaugurates new exco on Tuesday

The Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun elected by the faction loyal to Governor Ibikunle Amosun will be inaugurated on Tuesday next week. Yes, Ogun’s APC has been having some trouble in the wake of the recently held party congresses in the state. Also up for inauguration are the executives of the faction at the 236 wards and the 20 local governments in the state. The parallel congresses held by Governor Amosun’s faction on the one hand and the supporters of federal lawmakers believed to be loyal to an APC National Leader, Chief Olusegun Osoba on the other hand, has produced factional excos at the ward, local government and state levels of the party. Find us a better definition of awkward. Anyway, the governor, according to a statement by the state online website, Ogunpress20112 added that the event would take place at
the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta. ”The executives of the APC expected to be inaugurated are Chairman-Alhaji Rokeeb Adeniji; Deputy chairman- Alhaji Tajudeen Lemboy; Senatorial chairman (Ogun Central) Hon.
