Let's deploy all weapons to fight Boko haram- Babangida Aliyu

Niger State governor, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, has said that Nigeria should now deploy all her arsenal to fight the dreaded Boko Haram radical Islamic sect to the finish and in the process expose their sponsors. He stated this on Monday when he received the 2013 Christian Pilgrimage report at the Government House, Minna, stressing that the termination of the criminal activities of the dreaded sect members should also lead to the revelation of all their collaborators. Governor Aliyu who expressed optimism that the Federal Government is already receiving assistance from the international community on the fight against insurgency in the country, declared that what ‘we need to win the war is the political will’. He explained that the concept of Jihad is not about killing one another or abducting innocent people, just as he challenged Nigerians not withstanding their political bias, to rise in support of the Federal Government so that the dreaded sect members would be brought to their kneels. “We must fight extremism, anyone that is an extremist is not good for us, we must bring such people back to the path of sanity. “We should fight extremism in politics, you cannot keep quiet when you notice that things are not going right, if you can change it, if you cannot report to the authorities,” he maintained. He stated further that Nigeria should not allow those who are jealous to take over the society, adding that Nigerians should condemn, in the strongest terms, the abduction of the girls from the Government Girls’ Secondary School, Chibok, in Borno State, insisting that the activities of the Boko Haram should be terminated within three months.
