PDP needs to update their knowledge and correct their ignorance – APC

THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate for the August 9 election, Iyiola Omisore have been told to update their knowledge and correct their ignorance about the true picture of the spectacular transformation which has been happening in the State of Osun since Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola became governor in Nov 2010. At least now, the public has a powerful and more credible witness in the person of Mr. Macduff Okoro, the Assistant Director of Central Bank of Nigeria, Osogbo branch, who has authenticated APC government’s achievements in the State. What this dispassionate business leader has said should educate Omisore, the PDP and other cynics in our society who have been dissipating energy and resources trying to disparage the good work of Osun government by
spreading lies about its performance. Omisore, PDP and other cynics need to hear the assessment of CBN director on the last 42 months in Osun: “Reforms in various sectors (by the Aregbesola government) have boosted the economy of the State significantly . . . And had impacted the lives of the residents of the state positively . . . ‘Areas of improvement in the state include quality and affordable education, youth empowerment, roads and other infrastructure developments . . . ‘It is pleasing to note that in the State of Osun today, there is O’Reap which has engaged tens of thousands in food crop cultivation, fisheries, beef production and even cocoyam cultivation.” Amongs other things, Mr Okoro added that “with the various job schemes, there is hardly any home or family in the state that has not felt the impact of government and the standard of education has also improved.” This testimony should shame those who had been lying to the public about what is going in Osun. Macduff Okoro, the CBN chief and business leader is a better place and more educated person than Omisore and his PDP horde of ignoramuses who are sadistically desperate to rule Osun. ‘They cannot make it because they lack the basic knowledge of what really is going on in the state, owing to their ingrained mischief,’ the APC concluded.
