OSUN 2014: Adenipekun Emerges Running Mate To Akinbade
The leadership of Labour Party in Osun State has
picked Chief Michael Adenipekun as the running
mate to Engineer Fatai Akinbade in the state
governorship election slated for August 9,this
year.
To this end,the erstwhile Secretary to the State
Government on Wednesday in Abuja,submitted
his INEC’s governorship form along side that of
his deputy.
According to Akinbade’s Director of Media,Mr
Kayode Oladeji, Adenipekun who was born on.
July 10,1952,and hails from Osun in Atakumasa
West Local Government area of the state,is a
technocrat and a seasoned administrator who
joined the local government service in 1981 as an
administrative officer and retired as a Permanent
Secretary,Local Government Service Commission
in 2012.
The well respected Adenipekun who is the
Arapate of Osun, holds Bsc,Political Science from
University of Ibadan and Msc in. Local
Government Studies from the Obafemi Awolowo.

The deputy governorship candidate who has
travelled far and wide,is a community leader,a
christian and a family man
Meanwhile,the National Chairman of the
party,Barr.Dan Nwayanwu has reiterated his
optimism that the party would win the coming
elections in Osun and Ekiti States.
Nwayanwu then charged members to work
assiduosly in ensuring the realisation of this
dream.
