Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze
Madumere, yesterday said there is no alternative political party to the
All Progressive Congress (APC) in the State that would take it to the
promise land.
Madumere argued that the APC remains the party to beat in 2015 owing to people oriented programmes the Imo government has been implementing.
The deputy governor said this when the executive members of the party paid a solidarity visit on him in his office.
He observed that other political parties have performed woefully when they had the opportunity have resorted to name calling rather than debate on issues of developments.
The deputy governor assured that those democratic pitfalls of other parties that have attracted condemnation will not be experienced in the APC.
He called on those interested in any elective post to reach out to the people since they remain the deciding factor in any democracy.
Earlier in his speech, the chairman of APC Owerri zone, Chris Mwokeoma informed the deputy governor that the current executive members emerged through transparent process devoid of rigging and that they will soon organise a zonal rally in Owerri
