APC Govs Solidly Behind Nyako – Kwankwaso
Kane State governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has
said that the All Progressives Congress (APC)
governors are behind their Adamawa counterpart,
Murtala Nyako, and will explore all avenues to make
sure that his rivals do not unseat him.
In an interview with newsmen at his office yesterday,
Governor Kwankwaso accused the PDP-led federal
government of witch -hunt against non-PDP states.
Governor Kwankwaso accused the federal
government of using the security agents to influence
the election in Ekiti State, alleging that a similar plan
is underway in the next election in Osun State.
Kwankwaso decried what is happening in Rivers,
Nasarawa, Edo, Osun, Kano and Adamawa states
respectively, where they accused the federal
government of doing everything to destabilise the
states.
He alleged that, recently, remarked a federal minister
too away Kano Assembly members to Abuja and
coerced them to defect to the PDP.
Kwankwaso accused that the present regime of
President Jonathan of being the most corrupt in the
country, noting that any person caught with the crime
of corruption would be freed once he joins the ruling
party.
He also criticised the federal government for
impunity in the way it hastily dropped corruption
charges against Muhammad Abacha, simply because
he joined the PDP, saying the latter was even set to
contest governorship election in the state in 2015 on
the platfform of PDP.
