Former Speaker Dimeji Bankole Preaches Unity In Ogun PDP

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Dimeji Bankole, has challenged members of the Ogun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to be steadfast, remain focused and resolute towards redeeming its fortunes in the 2015 general elections. The former Speaker, at a unity meeting of the party held in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government area of Ogun State, said that without peace no meaningful development could be made by the party. While calling for unity of purpose among party members, Mr Dimeji also asked members to go spiritual and pray fervently for unity and progress of the umbrella party in the state. Party leaders and groups agreed to work together to once again bring it into limelight and ensure a resounding victory for the party in the coming elections. The party has also begun restructuring and reconciliation of various groups and aggrieved individuals in the build up to the general elections.
