Ogun APC Crisis: Atiku, others Wade in

Determined to halt the loss of its leaders and those holding elective officers on its platform to other parties, the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has waded into the crisis rocking the Ogun State chapter of the party. Nigerian Tribune learnt that the APC national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva and others have met with the faction belonging to former governor, Segun Osoba. The meeting came as the Osoba faction, which lost to Governor Ibikunle Amosun in the state’s power play ahead next year’s election, had become the
beautiful bribe being wooed by leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP) and the newly resuscitated Social Democratic Party (SDP).
