PDP Govt Will Operate Open Door Policy In Osun – Omisore
The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Senator
Iyiola Omisore has promised to operate an open
door policy if elected governor of the state.
He said that this will enable him to attend to all
and sundry in the scheme of things, adding that he
would only embark on people-oriented
programmes and projects.
The governorship candidate who made the pledge
while addressing a mammoth crowd and party
supporters at Okinni in Egbedore local
government area of the state gave assurance that
his administration would do all it could to see that
their welfare is taken care of.
Omisore stated that salaries of civil servants and
allowances of retirees would be paid as at when
due while other sectors in the state would not be
left unattended to.
The governorship candidate, however, charged
people of the state to work hand in hand with the
PDP to oust the present administration if they
want to fully enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Omisore who was a deputy governor of the state
also appealed to the people to come out en
masse and cast their votes for PDP on August 9.
He warned them against violence and untoward
acts that could disturb electoral process, and
advised them to be law abiding during the
electioneering period.
