Group berates APC youths for decamping to PDP

A youth group in the All Progressives Congress (APC), APC Youth Mobilisation for Change (APCYMC), has faulted the defection of members of the APC Youth Frontiers to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
National coordinator of the group, Ismail Atumeyi Yusuf, described the defection
in a statement as a wrong step saying those involved have no love for the masses and the entire nation.
It advised the APC to be wary of people who are not principled and who could be induced adding that the national leadership of the party should carry the youth along in their activities while scrutinising claims being made by groups in future.
“It is always a good riddance when somebody who lacks principle leaves your midst. Some of these groups are being sponsored to destabilise our party while calling themselves APC youths” the group said.
The group also expressed happiness over the conduct of the APC ward congress across the nation on Saturday and commended the APC over the peaceful and orderly manner the exercise was conducted.
It also described the exercise as a good development which will pave way for more peaceful conduct of the states congresses and the national convention of the party.
The group also advised the 37 House of Representatives members that defected to APC that, they should not be deterred or made to lose focus as the party is behind them and will do everything legally possible to pursue their case.
