Aregbesola’s 2nd term is a settled matter in Osun – Hon. Famurewa

His Excellency Governor Rauf Aregbesola of the State of Osun deserves a second term. No wise one changes a winning team. He is a political colossus of our time in Osun, this cerebral, irrepressible and indefatigable Governor was one time a works Commissioner in Lagos State under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I am very sure nobody has surpassed his achievements in Lagos State as Works Commissioner. His political pedigree is phenomenal and incomparable. In retrospect, the seven and half years reign of PDP in State of Osun virtually crippled the state in all facets of human endeavor, but the people voted Aregbesola as the one to deliver the state from its precarious state at that time however, the wish of the people was frustrated. In 2007, PDP frustrated our efforts but on the 26th of November, 2010, the Appeal Court sitting in Ibadan restored the hope of Osun people by declaring us the winner of the April 2007 gubernatorial election in the state. This is a great victory for democracy and rule of law, since then it has been success unlimited. Indeed leadership is all about rendering service to the people and this is the hallmark of APC as a party and we will not stop at ensuring that dividends of democracy is delivered not only to the good people of the State of Osun, but to all Nigerians as a whole. I want to tell the world that there is gold in Aregbesola, a vote for him is a vote to banish hunger, banish poverty, provide employment opportunity, provide good health care services, maintain communal peace and improve on the economy of the State of Osun with innovations introduced and promoted as the second phase of his administration commences soon.
