Gbolarumi declares gov ambition, Saturday

Former deputy governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi will tomorrow declare his governorship ambition at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat, Queen Elizabeth Road, Ibadan. Nigerian Tribune gathered that the declaration programme had been mapped out to make a statement on the seriousness of the aspirant, Hazeem Gbolarumi to emerge as the party’s standard-bearer for next year’s election. Director of Administration, Gbolarumi Campaign Organisation, Mr Bayo Idowu, informed the Nigerian Tribune that all arrangements had been concluded to make the day a success. According Idowu, “our aspirant being a politician of repute carefully decided to declare his intention immediately after the May 29 democracy day. “With this event, some doubting Moses will realise that his ambition is not a joke nor a negotiating tool as being peddled around by detractors. Gbolarumi is the only aspirant that can win the state for PDP in 2015. “When he declares on Saturday, everybody will know that he meant business. He is a thorough bred politician of repute, even recognise by the opposition.”[Nigerian Tribune]
