KWANKWASO WAS MISLED ON MY APPOINTMENT – SHEIKH NASIR

Sheikh Nasir Muhammad Nasir, whose appointment as Wazirin Kano by the late Emir of Kano Ado Bayero was rejected by the Kano State government, said Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso was misled about issues surrounding his appointment. Sheikh Nasir’s appointment was cancelled by the emirate council seven days after it was made and two days before the death of Bayero. In an interview with Daily Trust in Kano, Sheikh Nasir said he and his people support the new emir Muhammadu Sanusi II. “We do not have any problem with Kwankwaso; he trusted them and they cheated him. He is very innocent on this matter. During his campaign for a second tenure, he was here,” he said. He alleged that the people who instigated the problem did it for personal interests.
