Bauchi APC inaugurates state executive

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State  has inaugurated officials of its executive committee to run the affairs of the party in the next four years.
APC state legal adviser, Barrister Lawal Ibrahim, who presided over the inauguration in Bauchi, urged the officials to remain committed, confident and prudent with strict adherence to accountability saying posterity would judge their conducts.
He said the election of the state executive members was conducted in a free and fair manner without any litigation in line with the constitution of the party whose sole responsibility is to ensure good governance.
Lawal further advised them to be open and ensure fairness among party members as well as live up to members’ expectations by allowing internal democracy in all their endeavors as much is expected of them in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Newly sworn-in chairman of the party, Alhaji Uba Ahmed Nana, described the mandate given to them as a litmus test to move the party forward ahead of 2015 elections.
Uba advised his colleagues in the executive to “shun all political differences and to wrestle power from the ruling PDP.”
Members of the state executive include Alhaji Uba Nana the chairman; Barrister Buhari Disina, Secretary; Alhaji Auwalu Aliyu, publicity secretary; Sa’a datu Mamuda, women leader; Alhaji Mukhtari Ubandoma, financial secretary among others.
