, made the appeal while stating the party’s position on the conduct of the exercise yesterday in Osogbo, the state capital.
Mr. Oyatomi said the call for extension of the exercise became necessary following the disruption by political thugs in some areas thereby denying many prospective voters their chances of registering for the forthcoming elections.
The Osun governorship elections has been slated for Saturday, August 9, 2014.
“From day one of the exercise, thugs had disrupted the exercise in several registration centres across the state even up till Monday, the last day of the exercise.
“All the crisis-ridden centres should be allowed to open for more days with the protection of security agents to enable those who are yet to register to do so”, he said.
