Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa
Kwankwaso yesterday made a minor
cabinet reshuffle to further strengthen
government machinery for better
result.
The two new commissioners who were
sworn in yesterday are Nasiru Yusuf
Gawuna for the Ministry of
Agriculture, and Alhaji Ali Ahmed
Yako for the Ministry of Higher
Education.
Speaking on the new commissioners,
Kwankwaso said that the
commissioner for commerce and
industry, Dr. Nuhu Abubakar
Danburam is now the commissioner
for information, while that of
information, Dr Farouk Jibril Umar
will take charge of commerce
ministry.Also, the commissioner for
land and physical planning, Alhaji
Muhammad Nadu Yahaya will take
charge
of the Ministry of Budget and
Planning, while the commissioner of
Budget and Planning, Yusuf Bello
Danbatta was transferred to Ministry
of Land, Physical Planning.
