MEMBER of the House of Representatives representing the Gombi/Hong Federal
Constituency in Adamawa State, Haske Francis Hananiya, has blamed the crisis rocking the Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressive Party (APC) on former Lagos state governor, Bola Tinubu, and the interim national chairman, Chief Bisi Akande.
He accused the duo of imposing Governor Murtala Nyako, who recetly defected to the party, on its founders in the state.

Fielding questions from journalists at the weekend in his hometown during the commissioning of a clinic he constructed at Gaya ward, he said the national leadership of the party erred in its decision to impose Nyako, who he described as a liability. The action, he said, would sink APC in Adamawa if it is not revised.
“The national leadership of APC has erred in their decision to handover the leadership of the party in the five states whose governors defected form the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). We in Adamawa were in the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria  (ACN) that defeated Nyako during the 2012 governorship election: he used the court to steal the mandate. So, how can Nyako become the leader of the same party?”
Hananiya, who described the action of the national leadership as unfortunate, said APC cannot survive in the state if Akande-led leadership does not follow democratic rules to address the Adamawa crisis.
