Kano APC: Groups move to address internal squabble

Twenty organisations in the Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have formed a group known as ‘coalition of APC groups’ to address the challenges bedeviling the party in the state.
The group led by Suleiman Mohammed Mambo and Alhaji Hamisu Isa Sharifai, during a visit to the Kano regional office of Media Trust yesterday, said the group was formed to foster peace
, understanding, public enlightenment, purposeful and issue based political campaigns.
Mambo said:”It is our belief that only well organised political campaign, which is geared towards well defined goals, will deliver the highly desired peace and progress in our polity. As a group of popular grassroots organisation we are aware of the importance of mass media organisations like Media Trust, hence the need for partnership.”
Secretary of the group, Hamisu Isa Sharifai, also stated that they were out to address the problems arising from the legacy parties in the APC.
“Our group was formed to help the APC address the problems confronting the party as a result of the merger. As seasoned party administrators, we are out to pacify aggrieved members of the legacy parties,” he said.
